"we need a sitar... double neck actually"

gonna chat about something cool today. you know what's a sitar? a sitar... not guitar? ait, a sitar is a south asian musical instrument. i'm sure you saw it before.

in mike myers' new film "the love guru", the stupid guru was playing a sitar all the time. the funniest thing is, he can perform "more than words" with the sitar!!! and it's officially included in "the love guru" soundtrack.

have you heard of electric sitars? yes, surely, there are.

but have you heard of double-necked electric sitars? no? i understand it's hard to believe but... yes, there is one and only one double-necked electric sitar in the world. the guru was playing with it at the end of the whole film, and jessica alba was dancing like a bolywood girl!!! lmao!!!

cool isn't it? muahahahahahax... double-necked sitar... i laughed until i cried... i was so curious to find out whether double-necked sitar really exist. hahahax! you know what? i managed to find an article on the net which is about the making of this very unique sitar. it's on 12fret ( a very famous customized guitar shop ) website. it says one day they received a phone call, saying "we need a sitar... double neck actually... with humbucking pickups and floyd rose bridge... and it all has to function properly." and of course, the call is from mike myers. gawsh! you know what humbuckers and floyd rose tremolo are? have a look at this picture and you'll know. they are gears for those fuckin expensive electric guitars!

and there's this website called "guru pitka will teach you sitar"... it recommends guru pitka's myspace web page and teach people all kinds of yoga poses which appeared in the film... hell knows if they are real.

by the way, justin timberlake acts as "le coq" (sounds like "the cock"), a french hocky goal keeper. it's like a playboy acting as another playboy...
