the hell knows how to take photos of watercolours. so i said i could try take some shots of water, but not watercolours. then i was given a nikon d70s and some water.
i was damn pissed off. i was saying something like "want me to take some nice shots huh? then you should give me appropriate equipment!" seriously, it was like with no sperm but you want to get pregnant.
so i filled the lunchbox with water and started thinking about what to take. after observing for a while, i came up with this awesome idea in my mind! so i asked my junior to keep dripping water into the container and i was trying to take the moment when the droplet collides with the water surface.
200mm micro lens; shutterspeed 1/400, priority over aperture; iso 400; customized white balance... while the fellow was dripping the water into the lunchbox, i kept taking multiple shots. i took about 20 pieces each round... and repeated doing the same thing for like 4 rounds... in the end, i picked one of the best shots and submitted it to ms yap.
so there's a photo of water. and she was asking "how about the 'colour'?" i really really didn't know how, so i suggested her to use photoshop or any other software to change the colour tone.
you know what happened late? i saw a outside photography instructor and one of our art teachers came into to the room and started to discuss about how they were gonna change the colour tone... surprisingly, the final product was not bad!
